Program Educational Objectives of the Department
PEO 1: To have solid foundation in fundamentals of Computer Science and Engineering required solving computing problems and creating innovative software products and solutions for the real life problems.
PEO 2: To have technical competence and skills to use modern and cost-effective tools and technologies and have extensive and effective practical skills in Computer Science and Engineering to pursue a career as a computer engineer.
PEO 3: To have attributes like professionals with world class academic excellence, ethics, best practices, values, social concerns, lifelong learning and openness to other international cultures to meet the global needs.
PEO 4: To have managerial and entrepreneur skills with cross-cultural etiquettes, leading to a sustainable competitive edge in R&D and meeting societal needs.
About Department
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was started in the year 2008.With an intake of 60,now total strength of the department is 480. The college conducts the examinations and the degree is awarded by JNTUK Kakinada. University incorporates latest developments in Basic Computer Science, Programming,Application development, Communication, Datamining and warehousing and allied fields in a dynamic fashion so that the student is exposed to the latest technological advancements during the course of study.

Faculty & Research
The Department has adequate and eminent faculty . Faculty members are registered for their Ph.D Programmes at various universities and are actively doing their research work. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty with state of art Technological skills.
Infrastructure
The Department has good infrastructure facilitates and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories to cover the needs of Basic Computer Science, CProgramming, Advanced Programming like Java, Web designing, Operating Systems, Compilers, DataMining and WareHousing. These laboratories not only cater the needs of under graduate and post graduate programme but also are adequate to carry out active research facilities.
- Promote networking with alumni ,software industries and other stake holder for knowledge sharing through effective interaction
- Incumlate Ethical values among the students to make them socially committed professionals
Excellent teaching and learning environment will be achieved by focusing attention on assessment of results, improving continuing education, encouraging, conducting and participating in seminars, conferences, workshops and entrepreneurship program. Students of our Department actively participate in National-level Student Paper Contests being organized at IIT's, NIT's and various other Engineering Colleges. The Department is rated as one of the best departments in the Private Sector and is attracting better rankers in EAMCET.
New initiatives are being taken to improve academic performance of students. Efforts are being put to increase the percentage of first classes and distinctions and hence placements.
