Vision
The vision of Mechanical Engineering Department is to train the students to have in-depth knowledge of the subjects in the field of Mechanical Engineering thereby making them to develop level of confidence for carrying out R & D activities and for placement in multinational and national companies and to serve the Nation.
Mission
The objective of the course is to produce full-fledged Engineers in the field of Mechanical Engineering with an overall back-ground suitable for making a successful career either in industry/research or higher education in India and abroad.
About Department
The Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the year 2011. The college conducts the examinations and the degree is awarded by JNTUK Kakinada. The board of studies is incorporating latest developments in Thermal Engineering, Machine Design and allied fields in a dynamic fashion so that the student is exposed to the latest technological advancements during the program.

Faculty & Research
The Department has adequate and eminent faculty . Most of the faculty members are registered for their Ph.D Programmes at various universities and are actively pursuing their research work. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty.
Infrastructure
The Department has good infrastructural facilitates and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories to cover the needs of Thermal Engineering, Production Engineering and Machine Design related . The laboratories not only cater the needs of under graduate and post graduate programme but also are adequate to carry out active research in the allied fields. The department also has audio-visual facilities with LCD Projectors.
Excellent teaching and learning environment will be achieved by focusing attention on scientific assessment of results, besides continuing education, encouraging, conducting and participating in seminars, conferences, workshops and entrepreneurship program. Students of our department actively participate in National-level Student Paper Contests being organized at IIT's, NIT's and various other Engineering Colleges. The Department is rated as one of the best departments in the Private Sector and is attracting top rankers in EAMCET.
