About Department
The Department of Information Technology was started in the year 2008. With an intake of 60,now total strength of the department is 240.The college conducts the examinations and the degree is awarded by JNTUK Kakinada. University incorporates latest developments in Basic Computer Science, Programming, Application development, Communication, Data mining and warehousing and allied fields in a dynamic fashion so that the student is exposed to the latest technological advancements during the course of study.

Faculty & Research
The Department has adequate and eminent faculty . Faculty members are registered for their Ph.D programmes at various universities and are actively doing their research work. The department has qualified and experienced faculty with state of art Technological skills.
Infrastructure
The Department has good infrastructure facilitates and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories to cover the needs of Basic Computer Science, C Programming, Advanced Programming like Java, Web designing, Operating Systems, Compilers, Data mining and Warehousing. These laboratories not only cater the needs of under graduate and post graduate programme but also are adequate to carry out active research facilities .
The classrooms are well equipped with ICT enabled technology for the smooth functioning of teaching-learning activity.
Excellent teaching and learning environment will be achieved by focusing attention on assessment of results, improving continuing education, encouraging, conducting and participating in seminars, conferences, workshops and entrepreneurship program. Students of our department actively participate in National-level Student Paper Contests being organized at IIT's, NIT's and various other Engineering Colleges. The Department is rated as one of the best departments in the Private Sector and is attracting Better rankers in EAMCET.
