About Department
The strength of engineering college indeed lies in the academic affluence of the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities which was established in 2008. The department supports the technical departments by providing the value-based education to budding engineers that help them to become professionals with a difference to understand the social realities, the human beings, and work with them effectively. The students acquire knowledge and skills in the subjects of humanities and social sciences as depth and breadth subjects. The department is quite active in conducting workshops, extension lectures, leadership and personality development programmes in addition to the regular teaching schedule to create awareness and zeal in the students.
Faculty & Research
The Department has adequate and eminent faculty . Faculty members are registered for their Ph.D Programmes at various universities and are actively doing their research work. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty with state of art Technological skills.
Infrastructure
The Department has good infrastructure facilitates and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories to cover the needs of Basic Computer Science, C Programming, Advanced Programming like Java, Web designing, Operating Systems, Compilers, DataMining and WareHousing. These laboratories not only cater the needs of under graduate and post graduate programme but also are adequate to carry out active research facilities.
